Finished a new pastel portrait. It’s a nice breather from painting.

Just an easy trick I learned a few years ago that I thought I’d share. May not work 100% all the time, but works well for simple hand/arm placement.

MY FACE LITERALLY DROPPED THIS IS FUCKING PERFECT

So I wanted to draw this little reference to show the difference between different members of the corvidae family. It sort of got out of hand… And now I think wings are a huge pain in the ass to draw and I never want to see a bird again.

I came across this creep-tastic sight in the middle of the woods. For a moment it felt like I walked into a Supernatural cold open…

A long overdue True Detective painting- and I consider it the second in my "Pop-a-ganda" series. I wanted it to give the feel of a religious icon without hitting you over the head with it. Going into it, I knew I wanted to contrast rusting with gold-leafing— two starkly different textures to embody the duality of Rust’s character. Acrylic, rust, spray paint, and metal leaf on masonite.
